Europe is in the midst of a market-defining migration to ISO 20022 for initiatives such as Target2, Euro1, HVPS+ and CBPR+. In this talk learn how North America can capitalise on best practices and avoiding traps European FI’s are currently negotiating. We’ll discuss what FI’s are doing well with the ISO 20022 standards and data transformation from Swift MT, SEPA, proprietary etc.. and where these transformation traps lay. Finally understanding why learning from these mistakes and planning is vital for when the ISO 20022 bandwagon rolls into North America.
