  • IP addresses and disk volume serial numbers – our products use licensing software that will validate an installation using these values
  • User account information – if you register for a user account on any current or future client/support area of our website, we will retain information necessary to identify you as the owner of that account (email address, etc.)

How long do we keep this data?

If you are not a client of ours, we will remove your data from our systems within a reasonable timeframe. If you ask us to remove you from a marketing email list, we may retain a skeleton record comprising your name and email address to ensure that we do not mail you again.

If you are a client, we may need to retain your details so that we can provide a service to you.

Who do we share your data with?

Trace Financial will not share your data with any other third parties except where there is a legitimate business reason for doing so, for example:-

  • our appointed auditors, accountants or lawyers may require access to contracts containing limited personal details
  • if you are a client of one of our partners, we may pass on support requests to that partner

We will never lend or sell your data to third parties.

Your data is held securely within our systems and the data is accessible to a limited number of our staff.
